Why isn’t my application working? What is going on?.. Oh, no. Not Windows Firewall again! Isn’t that thing supposed to prompt me when it starts blocking a new application? Sometimes I wonder why I even try.
Well, it’s official, gaming is now going to start to suck.
I’ve always thought of the Wipeout series of racing games as must-have games. I bought Wipeout HD and Fury at full price, I didn’t just get them free with my Plus Subscription, and it’s one of the two reasons I have a PS3 at all. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a regular race fix… or at least I did until today.
With the latest PS3 update, I became sad. It is now playing commercials at the load screens. Way to blow my groove, guys! Hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate. Billboards around the racetrack are one thing, they fit in with the game world. Video commercials at the load screen? You know, I may just find something else to play.
Damn right I’m going to get over it. I’m going to get right on over to some other game.
Pro Tip: Corner traps can greatly improve the acoustics of your listening space.
