I just updated my basic Facebook profile. I hate facebook for showing my real name in the same way that I hate MySpace for showing my real age and sex. If I want you to see my A/S/L you’ll know it. At least Facebook can receive an RSS feed.
Now I need a LinkedIn profile for professional uses, and I’d like to update links to the open source projects I’m involved in, and… and… and… there are too many social network sites. Too Many! What I need is a social networking aggregator. I need something to let me manage all of the stupid social network sites the same way Pidgin lets me manage all my stupid IM accounts (except for MSN, which is permanently disconnected, I don’t even remember what they did to piss me off, probably required a Live membership).
I’m rambling. But it’s still a good idea.
Update: Facebook doesn’t want to update from my RSS feed. Stupid facebook!

I mean, if you turn it up real loud it starts to sound like metal, but those sampled drums at that volume sound really crappy, and the songs just sorta sit there, but if you don’t play it real loud it sounds overproduced and pop, unless you turn the bass way up; with the bass way up at loud volumes the drum machine or I guess that’s actually a triggered drum but anyway it thumps pretty well (except of course that it keeps getting louder and softer because of the crazy compression on the album to make it sound “hot” for the radio), so in the final analysis, I would say Metallica’s new “no this time it’ll sound like a Metallica album, srsly we promise” album Death Magnetic makes decent background music, but I wouldn’t just sit and listen to it unless I was sedated or something.

The font size tweaks continue. Here is yet another GreaseMonkey script to fix pixel-width font sizes. This one sets The Register‘s font size to 10.5 point. Not exactly huge, right? But it’s way bigger than 14px, which is the new default. Booo!
Get elregfonts.user.js here, or browse all tekhedd’s gm scripts.
