Hooray, another 2 gig AoC patch. *scowl*

July 7th, 2008

I finally have a free minute, and I know AoC is up to date and ready to run. Time to see whether my rebuilt system will be stable at last!

But what’s this? Another 2 gigabytes to download? Damnnation!

Thank goodness for software pirates!

After the recent nVidia RAID fiasco, I’ve reinstalled Ableton Live and the T-Racks plugins several times. Now I’m out of authorizations for Ableton and very low for T-Racks. Augh! I’ve got almost a thousand US dollars worth of software here that I have to beg for permission to run. Screw that, this is all on the same piece of hardware and I’m not handing out copies to people–I don’t even run this software in two different rooms. So it’s back to the audio warez scene to find some cracked software from the internets again, because, darn it, it’s not stealing if I paid full price for it. Right? Well, of course it’s probably not legal, but you can’t convince me it’s morally wrong.

Thank goodness for software pirates. Now I need a good virus scanner.

Now that’s a nice track. Play it loud.

I like this one. It’s not finished, but apparently nothing ever is. I don’t know why there’s a bunch of tracks named “U” something, but there is.

It’s not Led Zeppelin, but I like it.
