After the recent nVidia RAID fiasco, I’ve reinstalled Ableton Live and the T-Racks plugins several times. Now I’m out of authorizations for Ableton and very low for T-Racks. Augh! I’ve got almost a thousand US dollars worth of software here that I have to beg for permission to run. Screw that, this is all on the same piece of hardware and I’m not handing out copies to people–I don’t even run this software in two different rooms. So it’s back to the audio warez scene to find some cracked software from the internets again, because, darn it, it’s not stealing if I paid full price for it. Right? Well, of course it’s probably not legal, but you can’t convince me it’s morally wrong.
Thank goodness for software pirates. Now I need a good virus scanner.

I like this one. It’s not finished, but apparently nothing ever is. I don’t know why there’s a bunch of tracks named “U” something, but there is.

It’s not Led Zeppelin, but I like it.

Master Shake: “I thought it was about the love. I thought it was about the music!”
Zakk Wylde: “No. It’s about the money.”
A Miracle: Tabula Rasa downloaded and installed!
I know, it’s amazing! It finally downloaded successfully. And, naturally, now that it’s finally here I don’t have time to play. I need a gaming fix! Waaaah!
Get this. Instead of playing games all day like a patriotic American should on the 4th of july, I’m installing Windows 98SE on this older computer so we can use it to record the band. I know, isn’t that nuts? But the recording interface I have here doesn’t have drivers for 2000/XP/etc
Need TR Fix Now.
(I am having trouble getting OpenID to work, but I won’t give up yet!)
